Inclusion & equal treatment
Every collector belongs here
HAGS is committed to a welcoming, respectful experience for every collector — regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, ethnicity, age, or background. Grading and support are based on our published standards, not who you are.
Our commitment
Collecting brings people together. HAGS exists to serve that community with professionalism, fairness, and care — for everyone who trusts us with their cards.
Inclusion is not a seasonal gesture. It is how we operate year-round: in how we grade, how we communicate, and how we treat collectors and colleagues.
Equal treatment in grading & support
Every submission is assessed against the same published Grading Standards and the same documented process. Service levels, turnaround times, and support are offered on the same terms to every customer.
Decisions about grades, pricing, and customer service are never based on personal characteristics — including sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, race, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
LGBTQ+ welcome
HAGS proudly welcomes LGBTQ+ collectors, staff, and partners as full members of the community we serve. You do not need to disclose your orientation or identity to submit cards or receive support.
We use inclusive, gender-neutral language wherever it fits — “collectors”, “customers”, “you” — and we avoid assumptions about gender or relationships in our communications.
If you would like correspondence to use a chosen name or pronouns, you can update your account name, add a note at checkout, or contact us after purchase with your order reference. We will respect your preferences wherever we can.
Zero tolerance for harassment
Abuse or harassment of HAGS staff, other customers, or partners — including on the basis of LGBTQ+ identity or any protected characteristic — is not acceptable.
We will take appropriate action when misconduct is reported or identified. If you experience or witness behaviour that falls short of this standard, please contact us so we can address it.
Privacy & sensitive information
We do not share a customer's sexual orientation, gender identity, or other sensitive personal information without explicit consent.
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. You are never required to disclose protected characteristics to use our grading service.
Accessibility & reasonable adjustments
Inclusion also means removing barriers. We work to make our website and service usable by as many people as possible, including disabled collectors and screen reader or keyboard users.
Reasonable adjustments are available. If you need support to browse the site, complete a submission, or communicate with us, please get in touch and tell us what would help.
What we ask of everyone
- ✦ Treat staff and fellow collectors with respect
- ✦ Use inclusive language in communications
- ✦ Report concerns so we can act on them
- ✦ Give feedback that helps us improve
Feedback welcome
If something on our site or in our service does not feel welcoming or fair, we want to hear from you. Inclusion improves when collectors tell us what we can do better.
